How do I reserve a puppy?
After filling out an application and being approved a non-refundable deposit is required. The amount will vary if it’s before/after puppy picks. If it is before puppy picks it is $250 and if it is after you select your puppy it is $500. These deposits are non-refundable.
How do puppy picks work?
We do puppy picks at 5 weeks of age. It will go in order of our waitlist. You are welcome to come to our home or we can do a live video.
After you select your puppy a second non-refundable deposit of $250 is required. If this would be your first deposit, a $500 non-refundable deposit will be required.
Do you have to join a waitlist?
Technically no you don’t. But puppy picks are done in order of our waitlist which is determined by the order deposits are placed. If you are not wanting to do so, you are definitely welcome to wait until puppy picks are completed and select from the remaining puppies!
Are deposits transferable/refundable?
No, we do not do refunds or transfers to another litter. We are a smaller breeding program and this would be very difficult for us to accommodate.
Pick up options
When the puppies are ready for their new homes there are a couple different options for this to happen. You are welcome to come to our home at an arranged time to pick up your new puppy! We also will gladly meet you or a flight nanny at the Salt Lake City or Provo airports for delivery.
What is a flight nanny?
I might be biased. We have THE BEST flight nannies! Flight nannies fly in the cabin with your new baby and deliver them to a predetermined airport near you. This is an added expense from the purchase price of the puppy. However, this limits the stress of travel expenses for yourself. Flight nannies typically start at $500.
Do they shed?
The short answer, yes. Every single dog sheds. However, doodles have “hair” vs “fur”. The result of this is very minimal shedding. I compare it to how we, as humans, lose our hair. You will occasionally find clumps of hair where they frequently lay. But unlike dogs with fur you wont end up covered in it from petting them.
Are they hypoallergenic?
This varies on each individual. Because they have hair (not fur) the majority of people who suffer from dog allergies are able to have a doodle. However, your best option is to meet the puppy in person and see if there is any reaction that way if the allergies are severe.
